Tosh! Owen!
Personally, I think Tosh was wasted as a character; it was few and far between that she had anything interesting or revealing happen to her. I still loved her though; she became my fave in the end.
And dear Owen. He was bastard. I loved him. I think in his way, he was sort of like the gruff older brother to the others, except Jack, but even then...
I thought the episode was good overall. A tear jerker, looking at peoples reactions. I whole fandom is grieving together!
Stuff I didn't like:
- JB's over acting, again. Not as bad as Adam but it still just felt a little over the top.
- Grey. He was... confusing. He almost felt fake. Either be full of rage and sadistic or completely numb and sadistic, but please just choose one! And stick to it. I dunno, there was something unconvincing about him.
- The end scene. I'm all for emotional fluffiness, but that just felt odd!
Stuff I did like:
Pc Andy! Rhys! Saving the day... barricaded in Cardiff Police Station.
Incharge!Gwen. That was cool.
John Hart having honour. lol. That is the best.
and the very best bit:
Owen: TOSH! TOSHIKO I CAN'T GET OUT! NOT LIKE THIS!! I'M NOT DYING HERE! Get me out of here Tosh. GET ME OUT OF HERE, I DIED ONCE AND I'M NOT DOING IT AGAIN! Where's Jack? Where's Gwen, Ianto? YOU WANNA WATCH THE DEAD MAN DIE AGAIN?!
Tosh: Owen, just stay calm.
Owen: Why should I do that? Where's the FUN IN THAT! I'm gonna rage my way to oblivion
Tosh: Please stop
Owen: WHY? GIVE ME ONE GOOD BLOODY REASON WHY I SHOULD, ONE GOOD REASON WHY I SHOULDN'T KEEP SCREAMING!
Tosh: Because you're breaking my heart.
Owen: Sorry.
Tosh: It's my fault.
Owen: No, no no it isn't, no it isn't, don't go there Tosh, I'm really sorry.
Owen: It's starting.
Tosh: Owen.
Owen: It's alright, really Tosh, it's alright, Oh God.
